The Revell Modell was almost build out of the Box.
The only things what I did, was opening the weel wells, to view the nice bottom of the cockpit tub, and adding clear plastik to the possition lights in the wing tips.

I painted the MOdell wit my own JPS Color using RLM 76, 81 und 83.

Why a red nose.

Against the instructions and most of the known artist interpretations, I used red for the nose color.
I used hours and days, looking at the pictures of the original and found that the shades of grey on the nose and of the red band on the tail matched.

The colors and their order where known, so I coose the red.
Another positv Effect is that it looks great.
